Prices
The prices of the items are indicated in euros (€), including VAT at the legal rate, and may or may not include shipping costs.
Maria João Bahia reserves the right to change prices and any shipping costs at any time. Due to the volatility in the prices of raw materials, prices may change without prior notice.
There is technically a possibility of errors in prices, spelling, or descriptions, so all orders are verified. In the event that the information published on the website is incorrect, we will contact you via email to correct the information and confirm if you wish to proceed with the order.
Product Availability
Orders placed in the online store www.mariajoaobahia.pt are subject to stock availability. In case of stock unavailability, we will contact the customer to offer alternatives or inform about the delivery timeframe.
Please note that due to their artisanal nature, originality, and irregular shape, we cannot guarantee an exact match to the images and photographs.
Delivery Times
After confirmation of the order, we will send an email confirming the delivery time. Normally, for items in stock, the delivery time will be up to 5 business days within the European Union.
Delivery Costs
For orders with a total value equal to or greater than €250, the transport cost is free. For deliveries outside the European Union, Maria João Bahia cannot be held responsible for the costs associated with customs clearance and taxes. These costs are the responsibility of the customer at the destination.
Order Cancellation / Returns
The customer may cancel the order within a period of 14 consecutive days after receiving the piece, without having to provide any type of reason. The exception applies in the case of personalized and engraved pieces at the customer's request; in this case, we cannot accept returns.
To do so, the return request must be made via email to
geral@mariajoaobahia.pt, where you should indicate the order number and corresponding invoice. The piece must be returned in the original box and without any signs of use. The cost of return is the responsibility of Maria João Bahia.
We only accept the return of pieces purchased online, for all pieces bought in the physical boutique that do not present any manufacturing defects, are broken, or in poor condition, we do not accept returns.
Personalized and engraved pieces at the customer's request; in this case, we cannot accept exchanges or returns. Likewise, pieces that show signs of use, after analysis by our workshop or our collaborators, are not eligible for exchange or return.
Exchanges
The customer may, within 60 days, return their piece for the purpose of exchanging it for one or more pieces of equal or higher value.
To do so, the return request must be made via email to

The cost of return is the responsibility of the customer, and in case of loss, Maria João Bahia cannot be held responsible. We suggest that the customer ensures proof of shipment. Personalized and engraved pieces at the customer's request; in this case, we cannot accept exchanges. Likewise, pieces that show signs of use, after analysis by our workshop or our collaborators, are not eligible for exchange or return.
Delivery Locations and Countries
For deliveries within the European Union, there are no restrictions. Outside the European Union, deliveries are subject to the customs policy of each country. The costs vary and depend on the destination, they are not included in the delivery costs and are the responsibility of the customer at the destination.
